cantor-backend-python software package provides Python backend for Cantor -- transitional package, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cantor-backend-python
cantor-backend-python is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cantor-backend-python package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cantor-backend-python *
You will get with cantor-backend-python package name, version, architecture and description in a table
